Forward Together: Ponca City Development Authority
ESTABLISHING A CONNECTION…in business. Staying connected has been tough this last year. Heck, establishing and working business connections are tough during a good year. Throw in a pandemic, economic ups and downs and politics and it isn't hard to believe connections have been strained. But now is the time to dive right back in: you've mastered more tech in the last year than in the five proceeding and tradeshows as happening again. Get ready; it is time to collaborate (remember, we talked about that last week) and get connected with other businesses in the community, with suppliers and with training.

PCDA staff were talking about connections this week at the March Trustee Board Meeting. In February, PCDA had 39 connections with new industry, 54 with existing industry, 54 with regional partners and 11 with small businesses. With three leads, nine total projects with a potential job count of 305, staff liked the stats. So what's your connection need? Training? Polishing your business pitch (presentation)? Just want to do some networking to find some collaboration possibilities? Might we suggest some upcoming events such as Chamber After Hours starting back up in April or Business on the Balcony at City Central which is set to happen in May. See you on the balcony.
July 2019 Business on the Balcony. Grab a bite and a do a little networking.
Those days seem so far away. Let's get back there soon.
