Welcome Lori Henderson

I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Lori Henderson and I’m the new Executive Director at the Ponca City Development Authority. I’m a Blackwell native, an OSU grad, and have lived and worked in Ponca City since 2003.

Some of you may know me because of PCDA and the many roles I have had throughout my career here since 2012. Many of you may know me through City Central, a project I am extremely proud of. Some of you may know me best by the volunteering I have done with Ponca City Main Street and Ice on the Plaza or the Marland Estate Boards. Some of you may know me as far back as my time on the Ponca City Art Center Board and the Antiques Roadshow fundraiser we brought to town. I’ve been around a while!

But hopefully most of you know me by the passion I have for Ponca City, our history, industries and businesses and for the future of our community. I am truly looking forward to continuing the valuable, award-winning programs we have that assist our industries in growing and expanding, as well as using our new tools in housing and retail to push our economy forward.

My very capable staff, Laurence Beliel, Liz Leaming and Kat Long are ready to assist in any way we can. Lisa Bocanegra can talk all things City Central and your event-planning needs.

Please don’t hesitate to call the office to chat about new business plans, housing ideas, business retention and succession plans or if you just want to chat about the Ponca City economy. We are here to listen and to help.

It won’t be easy following the great David Myers, whose 21-year career at PCDA is the stuff of legends. But PCDA Staff are excited to do great things for the community, and we have already hit the ground running in this new era.
